About the Archbishop Hovnan Derderian Scholarship Fund
The Archbishop Hovnan Derderian Scholarship Fund is established on the belief that every Armenian student deserves access to an Armenian education.
Through scholarships and financial assistance, the Fund supports students and families who are committed to continuing their education in Armenian institutions. In doing so, it helps preserve language, faith, and cultural identity while strengthening the Armenian community as a whole.

History of the Scholarship Fund
The Archbishop Hovnan Derderian Scholarship Fund was established under the leadership of Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America, with a clear vision: to ensure Armenian students can receive education in Armenian schools, regardless of financial hardship.
Since its founding, the Fund has raised hundreds of thousands in support of Armenian education through its donors and community. The Fund awards scholarships to students and supports Armenian schools across the region.
Today, the Fund has grown into a lasting and meaningful initiative—helping families, strengthening Armenian schools, and investing in the next generation of leaders who will serve their Church and their people.
